Dr. Višnja Stepanić currently works as a researcher at the Ruđer Bošković Institute. She earned a Ph.D. Degree in the field of theoretical and computational chemistry from the Faculty of Science, University of
Zagreb in 2001. In addition, Višnja Stepanić has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry, including as a principal scientist position at the GlaxoSmithKline Research Centre Zagreb Ltd. (2006–2008). Her research topics mainly include cheminformatics and bioinformatics, molecular modeling, redox-active molecules, natural products, ADMETox, medicinal chemistry, agrochemicals, big data and machine learning/AI.
