Mengnan Sun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering, a Master’s degree in Communication and Information Systems, and a Ph.D. in Computer System Architecture, all from Ocean University of China, and currently is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Information Science and Engineering of the same university. Mengnan Sun won the second prize in the offline target detection group and the third prize in online target detection group of the 2019 Underwater Robot Picking Contest. Mengnan Sun is mainly engaged in the research of underwater special optoelectronic imaging technology and underwater light field intervention computational imaging technology.
Bing Zheng is a Professor in the Faculty of Information Science and Engineering at Ocean University of China. He received his Master of Marine Physics from Ocean University of Qingdao in 1995 and earned a Ph.D. in computer application technology from Ocean University of China in 2013. He was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Westminster from 2005 to 2006. He served in the ACM China Applied Computing Special Committee and is the chairman of the ACM Qingdao Regional Branch Executive Committee, the Oceans 2017 Aberdeen committee member of the internationally renowned offshore engineering conference, and won the InCoB 2017 Best Paper Gold Award. He has long been engaged in the research of underwater target optical characteristics, underwater detection light field distribution, underwater target 3-D detection. He has proposed several underwater imaging technologies based on laser difference frequency scanning, non-uniform light fields, wide-area layer light fields, and discrete light fields. In recent years, his research has mainly focused on underwater long-distance laser communication, underwater in situ observation, and underwater AI vision technology.
Min Fu joined Ocean University of China in 1998 as an Engineer, served as a Lecturer from 2012 to 2018, and currently is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Information Science and Engineering of the same university. Min Fu obtained a Master’s degree in Signal and Information Processing from Ocean University of China in 2004 and received a Ph.D. in Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics from Dalian University of Technology in 2012. Min Fu is also a 5th member of the Board of Directors of the Sensor Branch of the China Instrument and Control Society. Min Fu’s main research interests include underwater optical communication, underwater detection, underwater robotics, and new sensors.
