Dimitrios Dionysopoulos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Operative Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, School of Health Sciences,
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He graduated from the
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of Dentistry, with a
degree in DDS, before completing his Postgraduate Program in Operative
Dentistry. Later, he completed his Ph.D. degree entitled “In vitro
comparative study on cariostatic effect of contemporary
fluoride-releasing materials for conservative restorations” in Operative
Dentistry from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. After that, he
became a Research Associate and Clinical Instructor in the Department of
Operative Dentistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is
also a member of several professional and scientific societies,
including the Balkan Stomatological Society; International Association
for Dental Research—I.A.D.R./Continental European Division—C.E.D);
Hellenic Academy for Laser Dentistry; Society of Odostomatological
Research; Hellenic
Society of Preventive Dentistry; and Stomatological Society of Northern
Greece. His primary areas of investigation include Operative Dentistry,
Preventive Dentistry, Conservative Dentistry, Dental Materials, Lasers
in Dentistry, and Restorative Dentistry.
