Juan Vázquez-Martínez is a researcher at Tecnológico Nacional de México/ITS Irapuato. He obtained a biochemical engineering degree at Instituto Tecnológico de Morelia in 2010, and earned a Master's degree in Biotechnology (2012) and a Ph.D. in Plants Biotechnology (2017) from Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados Unidad Irapuato. His main research themes include natural product biochemistry, quorum sensing and quorum quenching, the development of analytical chemistry methods, plant–microorganism interactions, and the biochemistry of subaerial biofilm microorganisms.
