Dr Eleni Sideri holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from SOAS/University of London. She performed extensive fieldwork in the Caucasus, in the former Yugoslavia (Sarajevo), and in Greece. She taught social anthropology in various departments and she has published in different languages. Her latest monograph is entitled Coproducing Europe: An Ethnography of Film Markets, Creativity and Identity, Berghahn Books, 2023, and she co-edited the volume Religions and Migration in the Black Sea Region with Lydia Efthymia Roupakia, ed., Springer International Publishing, 2017.
