Prof. Dr. Hong Huang is a Professor at the School of Resources and Environment, Nanchang University. She received her B.Sc. degree from the School of Forestry, Central South University of Forestry and Technology in 1996, her M.Sc. degree from the School of Resources and Environment, Nanchang University in 2002, and her Ph.D. degree from the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University in 2005. She is a National Natural Science Foundation project review expert, Academic Bridge professional title review expert, and national postgraduate education evaluation and monitoring expert. She has been awarded many awards and honors. She is mainly engaged in research related to atmospheric environment and environmental toxicology, with specific directions including chemical composition, distribution, sources, and sinks of aerosols; the optical properties of light-absorbing carbon aerosols (black carbon, brown carbon); emission characteristics and the impacts of indoor and outdoor aerosol emission sources (indoor sources such as printers and smoking; outdoor sources such as industrial boilers and motor vehicle exhaust); the impact of atmospheric deposition on the surface/water bodies and the environmental geochemical behavior of substances; and the toxicological effects and intervention measures of environmental pollutants (atmospheric particulate matter, heavy metals, etc.).
