Manhou Xu received his Doctoral Degree in Physical Geography from the University of
Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014. He works as Professor at Taiyuan Normal University (2021–present). In 2017, he was promoted to Vice Director of the School of Geographic Sciences of Taiyuan Normal University. His research topics mainly include: species diversity, biomass, plant functional groups, spatial pattern, and climate warming.
