Vishnu Vijay Kumar currently works as a Professor at Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore. He was a Senior Researcher at IIT Madras and received a joint doctorate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, and the National University of Singapore. He was a research intern at the University of Luxembourg, a collaborative research project coordinator at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, A*STAR, Singapore, and a visiting faculty member at the University of Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. His broad areas of research include nanomaterials, composites, 3D printing, sustainability, and circular economy. He is also a member of various reputable organizations like ASME, ASCE, ACS, ACers, APS, IES, RINA, IMarEST, etc., and serves as an Editorial Board member for various peer-reviewed journals.
