Anthony Peyton received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics and a Ph.D. in Medical Instrumentation from UMIST in 1983 and 1986, respectively. He was appointed Principal Engineer at Kratos Analytical Ltd. in 1989, developing precision electronic instrumentation for magnetic sector and quadrupole mass spectrometers. He returned to UMIST as a lecturer and worked with the process tomography group. He moved to Lancaster University in 1996 as a senior lecturer, was promoted to reader in electronic instrumentation in 2001, and became a professor in 2004. Since 2004, he has been a professor of electromagnetic tomography engineering at the University of Manchester.

Dr. Wuliang Yin is a Reader in Electromagnetic Sensors and Instrumentation at the School of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Manchester, Manchester. He earned, from Tianjin University, his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in 1992 and 1995 respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. at Tsinghua University in 1999. Moreover, he is a recipient of the 2014 and 2015 Williams Awards from The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, the 2016 Best Graduate Student Paper from the IEEE I2MTC conference, 2018 and 2022 IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society Graduate Fellowship as supervisor, 2021 IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society Best Application Award,  Excellent Paper Award – Agilent Measurement Forum in 2000 and National Scientific and Technical Progress Award by the Chinese Government in 1999. He is an IEEE Senior Member, an EPSRC college member, Fellow of IET and BINDT.
