Author Biographies

Emilia Herman, professor at the Faculty of Economics and Law, “George Emil Palade” University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Targu Mures, Romania. She holds a PhD in Economics (2008), which she did at “Babes Bolyai” University, Cluj-Napoca, and a Habilitation in Economics (2017). In 2013, she completed a postdoctoral research programme, "Performance and excellence in postdoctoral research in the Romanian economics science main," organised by the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. She teaches courses such as digital economy, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and the labour market in a European context. Her main research interests are the digital economy, the labour market, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. She has over 80 scientific publications in internationally recognised journals, including Sustainability, Mathematics, Inzinerine Ekonomika—Engineering Economics, Amfiteatru Economic, Applied Sciences, and Educational Studies, among others. She is a member of the European Regional Science Association.
