Danielle Goveia graduated with a degree in chemistry from the State University of Maringá in 2003 and has a master's in analytical chemistry and a PhD in environmental chemistry from the Araraquara Chemistry Institute-UNESP. She is an associate professor of the Department of Exact Sciences and Technology of the Institute of Science and Engineering at UNESP - Itapeva Campus (ICE). She is director of the Institute of Science and Engineering (2022–2026). She is accredited in the postgraduate program of bioprocess and biomaterials engineering at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of UNESP - Araraquara-SP. She is leader of the research group PAPER, ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT and has experience in the area of environmental chemistry, specifically in humic substances, metals in aquatic systems and the development of biomaterials.
