Dr. Peisheng Lyu has a position as a lecturer and is currently working at the School of Metallurgy and Environment, Central South University. He holds a master’s and doctorate in Metallurgical Engineering from Central South University. He is currently mainly engaged in the research of cutting-edge technologies for near-net-shape manufacturing of advanced metals (high-strength steel, high-strength aluminum alloy, nickel-based alloy), sub-rapid solidification metal structure and property regulation technology, and high-quality alloy steel continuous casting billet quality control technology. He is an expert in the Steel Rolling Branch of the Chinese Society for Metals. He is a reviewer and young editor of the Chinese core journal Steel Rolling. He is a reviewer for the journals Steel Research International and Metallurgical and Materials Transactions B. In recent years, he has published more than 10 SCI papers as the first author/corresponding author in international authoritative and important journals of metallurgy and materials such as Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A, Metallurgical and Materials Transactions B, JMRT, and IJMMM. He has been granted more than ten national invention patents, published eight domestic and foreign conference papers as the first author, participated in five international conferences, and made four reports at domestic and foreign academic conferences (one key speaker and one conference report).
