Dr. György Eigner is an Associate Professor of the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics, Óbuda University. He is also working at the Physiological Controls Research Center at Óbuda University. He earned his B.Sc. degree in mechatronic engineering at Bánki Donát Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering, Óbuda University, in 2011, and his M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering at Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2013. He received his Ph.D. degree in applied informatics and applied mathematics at Óbuda University in 2017. Dr. Eigner is the Dean of the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics and the Head of the Biomatics and Applied Artificial Intelligence Institution. His main research focus is the application of advanced control methods in physiological relations, biomedical engineering, human-in-the-loop systems, and deep learning-based cybermedical systems. He is the Co-Chair of the Computational Cybernetics Technical Committee and Chair of the Young Professionals Subcommittee of IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. He is also an Associate Editor of the international journal IEEE Access, ACTA Polytechnica Hungarica and a member of the Public Body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
