Dr. Hao Yu is currently an associate professor at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. In 2020, he was awarded the Second Prize of the Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award. Furthermore, he is an IEEE senior member and an assistant editor of Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessment and IET Energy Systems Integration. His research interests include the operation analysis and optimization of active distribution networks and integrated energy systems.
Dr. Haoran Ji is currently an associate professor at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2014 and 2019, respectively. From 2019 to 2020, he was a visiting research fellow at Mälardalen University, Sweden. In 2017, he was awarded the 2017 IEEE PES General Meeting Best Conference Paper and National Scholarship for Doctoral Students. In 2018, he was awarded the National Scholarship for Doctoral Students, the Tianjin University 17th Student Science Award, the Tianjin University Outstanding Student Model, and the Tianjin University Excellent Doctoral Fund. Additionally, he is a member of the IEEE PES Power System Operation, Planning and Economic Technical Committee, the IEEE PES Energy Development and Generation Technical Committee, the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) China National Committee, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering (CSEE). He has authored or co-authored more than 20 journal and conference publications and has been granted more than 10 patents in China. His research focuses on distributed generation systems and the optimal operation of flexible distribution networks.
