Anja Batina completed her master's degree at the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb, in 2015. Since then, she has been working in the GIS domain. Starting in 2018, she is now fully dedicated to pursuing a Ph.D. in geodesy and geoinformatics. She is doing research for her doctoral thesis on a geospatial multisensor approach for lake water quality monitoring and assessment.
Andrija Krtalić graduated in 1997 with a topic in the field of photogrammetry. He defended his master's thesis in 2006 with a topic in the field of remote sensing. In 2011, he obtained the title of Doctor of Science at the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb, with topics in the field of remote sensing. In 2015, he was appointed an assistant professor at the same institution. His fields of activity and expertise are remote sensing and photogrammetry. During his scientific research studies, he has participated in 15 scientific and professional projects in the field of remote sensing. In two FP5 projects (ARC and SMART); one FP7 project (TIRAMISU); four Erasmus+, Sector Skills Alliance projects: EO4GEO, SEED4NA, UN4DRR, GeoCLIC, and SmartWB; Horizont 2020 project Twinning Open Data Operational (TODO); two projects funded by the US State Department; and five domestic projects as a researcher, senior senior, and manager. His research interests are in the remote sensing domain, multispectral sensors, data fusion, image fusion, and multicriteria analysis, especially in the areas of humanitarian demining, monitoring of the state of vegetation, and urban heat islands.
