Prof. Dr. Kwanho Kim is a professor in the Department of Industrial Systems
Engineering in Dongguk University (DGU) since March 2024. He was a professor in
the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering in Incheon National
University (INU) from February 2014 to 2024. He received his Ph.D. degree in
industrial engineering from Seoul National University (SNU) in August 2012
under Professor Jonghun Park. His doctoral dissertation is entitled “An
Integrated Approach to Itemset Construction for Price Comparison Shopping
Services”. His research interests include statistical methodologies to analyze
and manage information such as machine learning, text mining, information
retrieval, and recommendation systems for various business fields ranging from
manufacturing to mobile business. His articles have appeared in major journals
such as the International Journal of Geographic Information Sciences,
Communications of the ACM, IEEE Multimedia, IEEE Intelligent Systems,
Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Information Processing Letters,
and Knowledge-Based Systems.
