Dr. Artemy Kolchinsky is currently working at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. He received a Ph.D. degree in informatics (with a focus on complex systems and cognitive science) from Indiana University in 2015. He spent several years as a postdoc at the Santa Fe Institute, an interdisciplinary research institute dedicated to the study of complex systems, as well as the Universal Biology Institute, a theoretical biology group at the University of Tokyo. His research interests include information theory, nonequilibrium thermodynamics, and complex systems.
