Dr. Gaofeng Hu has a position as a lecturer and postgraduate tutor and is currently working at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Tianjin University of Technology and Education, Tianjin, China. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Tianjin University and is currently a postdoctoral student at Tianjin University. His research directions include ultra-precision machining equipment design, testing, and control technology; ultra-precision machining mechanism and technology; precision spindles; and fast servo tools. The undergraduate courses he teaches are Mechanical Principles, Mechanical Design, and Electromechanical Equipment Design, and the postgraduate course is Micro-Nano Manufacturing Technology. He chaired the Tianjin Science and Technology Planning Project Youth Fund. He has participated in two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects.
