Dr. Marcelo J. Kogan is a Full Professor at the Department of Pharmacological and Toxicological Chemistry, University of Chile, Santiago, Chile. He is also a Principal Investigator at the Advanced Center for Chronic Diseases and a Pharmacist at the University of Buenos Aires. He received his Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires in 1996. His main research focuses on the applications of nanomaterials in biomedicine for the diagnosis and treatment of conformational diseases.
