Dr. Kee S. Moon is a Professor and Director at San Diego
State University. He obtained his BS and MS in Industrial Engineering from
Korea University in Seoul, Korea, and his MS and PhD in Industrial Engineering
from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Moon has
received several awards throughout his career, including the Outstanding
Faculty Award from San Diego State University in 2007, the Northrop Grumman
Excellence in Teaching Award from Northrop Grumman in 2009, and the Monty Award
from San Diego State University in 2011. He has also been recognized in the
Marquis Who’s Who in Americans. His primary research interests are in smart
sensor/actuator technology and integrated systems.
