Author Biographies

Vincent Mak has been a Professor of Marketing and Decision Sciences at Cambridge Judge Business School,  University of Cambridge, since 2019. Prior to that, he was a University Lecturer and then Reader at Cambridge Judge Business School. He earned, from the University of Cambridge, his BA, MMath, and MSc in 1994, 1995, and 1997, respectively. He received his PhD in Marketing from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008. Prof. Mak's research interests include prosocial decisions, managerial and consumer behavioural decision making, pricing, experimental economics, and game theory. He is interested in how people and firms make decisions as they interact with each other, and what economic and psychological factors influence those decisions. He is also currently a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Cambridge  Judge Business School, and was previously the Vice-Dean for Programmes and Research, the Director (Associate Dean) of Programmes, and the Deputy Director of Teaching, at the Business School.
Prof. Rami Zwick holds a B.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an M.A. from the University of Haifa, and a Ph.D. in quantitative psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He joined UC Riverside School of Business in 2009 as a full professor of Marketing. Previously, he was a faculty at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the University of Auckland, New Zealand, the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania State University, and Carnegie Mellon University. On the administrative side, at the UCR School of Business, he served as the department chair, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Programs, and Senior Associate Dean for Programs. The current appointment is the second time that he is leading the graduate programs at the school. His research interests include consumer behavior, experimental and behavioral economics and negotiation.
