Author Biographies

Muhammad Saqib Awan received his M.Phil degree in Physics from the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and he is now pursuing a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked as a lecturer at PIEAS for many years. His research is mainly focused on energetic materials safety assessment.
Prof. Zhengxiang Huang received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, China, in 1990, 1998, and 2003, respectively. He is currently a Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. His current research interests include efficiency destruction, ammunition engineering, and other related fields. He is a Senior Member of the China Ordnance Society.
Prof. Xudong Zu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Weapon Systems and Engineering and a Ph.D. in Weapon Science and Technology at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. Then, he began his career as a Lecturer at the university from which he graduated. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015 and Professor in 2023. He also holds administrative positions as Branch Secretary and Deputy Director. His research directions are warhead design, efficient damage and protection technology, and new principle shaped energy warhead technology.
Prof. Qiangqiang Xiao currently works as an Associate Professor and Master Supervisor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Weapon Systems and Engineering and a Ph.D. in Weapon Science and Technology, both gained from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology. His research directions are high-efficiency damage and protection technology and new warhead structure design.
Dr. Bin Ma currently works as an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He completed a Joint Doctoral course in Engineering Mechanics at the University of Liverpool in 2017. He also obtained a Doctor of Engineering in Weapon Science and Technology at Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2018. He is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in the field of high-efficiency damage and protection technology in the field of weapon science and technology.
