Dr. Andreea Hegyi obtained her doctoral degree from the Materials and Environment Engineering Faculty at the Technical University from 2008 to 2011. From 2009 to 2011, she worked as a research scientist at the NIRD URBAN-INCERC Cluj-Napoca Branch and served as the principal research scientist in 2011. She is an associate professor at the Faculty of Materials and Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. Her research interests include building materials research; laboratory analysis; and technical approval of aggregates, cement, steel, ceramic construction elements, concrete, or other waterproofing materials and insulation materials.
