Corrado Romano is an Associate Professor in Medical Genetics at the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Biotechnologies (Biometec) of the University of Catania, Italy and Head of the
Research Unit of Rare Diseases and Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the Oasi
Research Institute-IRCCS in Troina, Italy. He obtained his Specialization in Medical Genetics
in 1993 from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Catania. He is a member of the American Society of Human Genetics, ESHG and SIGU. His current projects involve Trisomy 21, Genetic Rare Diseases, and Genomic Disorders.
