Dr. Ke Chen is an Associate Professor at the School of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Wuhan, China. He earned his bachelor's degree in Building Engineering and Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and his Ph.D. in Construction Informatics from The University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining HUST, he served as a research assistant and post-doctoral fellow at iLab, Department of Real Estate and Construction, The University of Hong Kong. Dr. Chen's research interests primarily focus on emerging digital technologies, construction digital twins, and system modeling. He is an associate editor for Heliyon and Frontiers in Built Environment. Additionally, he serves on the scientific committees of several international academic conferences, including the International Conference on Sustainable Buildings and Structures and the EG-ICE International Workshop on Intelligent Computing in Engineering.
