Dr. Andleeb Khan (Ph.D.) is an assistant professor at Jazan University, Saudi Arabia. She completed her doctorate at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India, in toxicology with a specialization in natural and active constituents from plants for the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease. She has more than ten years of teaching and research experience in neurodegenerative disorders and their prevention with medicinal plants, their active principles, and nanoformulations. Her academic accomplishments in the Master's course are outstanding, and she was awarded a gold medal, the highest achievement for this course. She has published many research papers in national and international journals and contributed many book chapters to international publishers, including Springer Nature and Academic Press (Elsevier). She is the editor of a book with Elsevier. She is also an editorial board member and reviewer of various international journals and is the principal investigator of significant projects on neurodegenerative diseases and their prevention. She has received many awards, appreciations, and recognitions for her service to science. She holds life memberships in various international organizations and is an active participant in national and international scientific events.
