Dr. Xianping Guan is currently an Associate Researcher at the Key Laboratory of Modern Agricultural Equipment and Technology, Ministry of Education, Jiangsu University (since 2010). He completed his PhD studies in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Southeast University in 2010. So far, he has participated in the invention of two patents (ZL201710865514.7 and ZL201610571613.X). He is mainly engaged in the research of agricultural machinery design, detection, and control technology, with specific directions: 1) R&D of orchard mowing robots; 2) R&D of orchard intelligent spray machinery; 3) research on intelligent perception and obstacle avoidance technology of agricultural machinery; and 4) research on intelligent control technology of agricultural machinery.
Dr. Yuhan Ding is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Jiangsu University, Jiangsu, China. He earned a BS in Automation (2002) and a PhD in Automation (2010) from Southeast University. He worked as a Lecturer at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Jiangsu University, from 2010 to 2018 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018. He also worked as a Research Fellow at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Illinois Institute of Technology, from 11/2013 to 11/2014. His research topics mainly include the measurement and automation of complex systems.
