Soo-Young Lee is a professor at the
Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine, the Catholic University of
Korea. He graduated from Kyungpook National University
School of Medicine and earned a PhD from the Catholic University of Korea. He received
the Catholic University Graduate School Academic Award and the BOWON Best
Article Award. He has published more than 50 papers as first or corresponding author
in various journals and is a member for the Korean College of Pediatric
Clinical Immunology, the Korean Society of Pediatric Infectious Disease, the Korean Society of Kawasaki Disease, and the Koran College of Rheumatology. His areas of interest include systemic inflammation
and organ dysfunction, pediatric sepsis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA),
macrophage activation syndrome (MAS), and Kawasaki disease.
