Prof. Dr. Naigang Cui received his B.S. degree in aircraft system engineering from the National University of Defense Technology, Hunan, China, in 1986, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in flight mechanics and guidance, control, and simulations from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 1989 and 1996, respectively. He is currently a Professor at the School of Astronautics, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. He has authored three books and more than 100 papers. His research interests include optimization, guidance, control, and nonlinear filtering theory of vehicles. Prof. Cui was awarded many prizes, including the second prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from China's Department of Aeronautics.
