Jomin Thomas is currently working as a Lead R&D and sustainability chemist at Nippon Paint Automotive Americas, Inc. (June 2023–present). He received his Ph.D. in Polymer Engineering from The University of Akron, Akron, OH, USA, in 2023. He is among the emerging UA alumni researchers as a budding polymer sustainability technologist, with a major thrust in projects that emphasize polymer sustainability. He has 7+ years of research experience in working with coatings, elastomers, and composites which includes 4+ years of industrial experience. His main research areas include coatings, composites, polymers, sustainability, and tires.
