Prof. Dr. Daniel Erlacher is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Movement and Exercise Science, Institute of Sport Science, University of Bern. He obtained his Doctorate in Sport Sciences (Dr. Phil.) from Heidelberg University in 2005 and completed his post-doctoral studies (Habilitation) there in 2011. His research interests include regeneration through sleep, sleep before sports competitions, better sleep through sports activity, procedural memory consolidation, and motor skills in dreams.
