Dr. Tao Yang is a Professor and a Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute for Carbon Neutrality, University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. He completed his Master's and Ph.D. studies in the State Key Laboratory of New Iron and Steel Metallurgy Technologies and was a Faculty Postdoctoral Researcher in the Material Science and Engineering School at the University of Science and Technology, Beijing. His research mainly focuses on metallurgical electrochemistry—catalyst development and system optimization for hydrogen production from hydrolysis and CO2 reduction and inorganic non-metallic materials—controlled preparation and functional applications of low-dimensional materials.
Dr. Kang Wang is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 2008 and a Ph.D. degree in Materials Synthesis Chemistry in 2013 from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. From 2017 to 2018, he was a Visiting Scholar at Griffith University in Australia. His main research focuses on environmental science, marine chemistry, contaminants, mercury, methylmercury, heavy metals and bioaccumulation. In addition, he is a member of the Chinese Chemical Letters Youth Editorial Board.
Prof. Hongyang Wang is a Senior Engineer and a Master's tutor at the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Criteria and Risk Assessment, Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences. She obtained her Master's in Environmental Engineering and Science at Tsinghua University and her Ph.D. in Urban Environmental Engineering at Kyoto University (Japan). Her research mainly focuses on electrochemical catalysis technology to remove pollutants, electrical desalination technology for resource recovery, and multi-objective optimization model construction.
Prof. Xinmei Hou received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Zhengzhou University and her Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2009. Currently, she serves as a Professor at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Her research focuses on the preparation of high-performance ceramics, high-temperature properties, and functional applications in such fields as electrochemistry and environment.
