Francisco J Alvarez-Padilla is a Professor and Researcher
at the Translational Bioengineering Department, University Center of Exact
Sciences and Engineering, University of Guadalajara. He also has been the Coordinator
of Master of Science in Bioengineering and Intelligent Computing at the University
of Guadalajara since 2022. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Université
de Reims Champagne-Ardenne in 2019 and then joined the University of Guadalajara
in 2020. His areas of particular interest focus on the recognition of pathological
patterns, Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging, and Mathematical
Morphology. He is engaged in the research and development of innovative
algorithms aimed at automating and improving the analysis of medical images.
