Lois Eva trained at the Royal Free Hospital Medical School, University of London, graduating in 1993, and completed general obstetric and gynaecology training in London. She then completed additional training in gynaeoncology in Birmingham and holds subspecialist certification in gynaecological oncology from the RCOG in the UK and has also been awarded the European Board and College Accreditation in Gynaecological Oncology. She has a particular interest in vulval disease and has published and lectured on vulval pain, vulval skin conditions, and cancer, and her research degree was in vulval disease. She is an accredited colposcopist with the BSCCP, and the Gynaecologist Oncologist and Colposcopist at Auckland City Hospital.
