Prof. Dr. Feng He is a Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Solidification Processing, at Northwestern Polytechnical University. He graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2014, then attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2019, and obtained his Ph.D. degree at Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2019. From 2019 to 2021, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at the City University of Hong Kong. He has been working as a Prospective Professor at the Northwestern Polytechnical University since 2021. In 2017, he won the first prize of the Innovation Scholarship of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. He also serves as a reviewer for academic journals such as JMST, JMRT, Mater. Desig., JAC, Composite B: Engineering, etc.
Prof. Dr. Zhijun Wang is a Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Solidification Processing, at Northwestern Polytechnical University. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2010. He served as a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Materials, Northwestern Polytechnical University from 2010 to 2012. He was a Hong Kong Scholar in the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, from 2013 to 2014. He served as an Associate Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Solidification Technology, Northwestern Polytechnical University from 2013 to 2019, and has been a professor since 2019. His main research directions include solidification theory and technology, multi-principal alloy design, nanosuspension solidification, and the emerging interdisciplinary disciplines of materials science.
