Khashayar Ghandi is a faculty member at the University of Guelph (Department of Chemistry) who conducts research at the interface of radiation chemistry, material science, and analytical chemistry with applications in energy, health, and clean technologies. He is a national representative of the physical and biophysical chemistry division of IUPAC, president of the Physical, Theoretical and Computational Chemistry Division of the Chemical Institute of Canada, a council member of the Canadian Nuclear Society, and co-chair of the Environment Waste Management and Decommissioning Division of the Canadian Nuclear Society. He won the 2018–2019 Jean d’Alembert chair award. He was the past elected president of the International Society for μSR Spectroscopy.
