Author Biographies

Serdal Atiç was born in Turkey in 1988. He received a B.E. degree from Fırat University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in 2010. He completed his M.E. degree at Dicle University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in 2018. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey. Atiç worked as an electrical and electronics engineer in various private organizations between 2010 and 2014. In 2014, he worked as a lecturer at Bitlis Eren University Vocational School of Technical Sciences. He started working at Batman University Vocational School of Technical Sciences in 2015 and continues to work in this position. Serdal Atiç's academic interests include control engineering, renewable energy resources, and quality and reliability of power systems, and he has articles and papers published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Atiç received the Best Oral Presentation Award (2nd) for his work titled "PI Controller Design with Generalized Stability Boundary Locus for Unstable Processes" at the International Engineering Conference (IEC) held in 2017.
Ercan Izgi was born in Turkey in 1974. He received his B.E. degree in 1996, his M.E. degree in 1999, and his Ph.D. degree in 2005 from Yıldız Technical University. He was an associate professor at Yıldız Technical University, Department of Electrical Engineering, in 2013, and he still continues this position. His main research interests include energy, electric power transmission, distribution and protection, renewable energy, engineering, and technology. He has articles and papers published in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
