Justin A Davis is a Ph.D. student of Dr. Chakrabarti’s Research Lab, who is pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Department of Biological Sciences, College of Science, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Charlotte, NC, USA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2019. His skills and expertise include Recombinant Protein Expression; Bacterial Transformation; SDS-PAGE; Affinity Chromatography; Western Blot; Quantitative RT-PCR; Co-Immunoprecipitation; and Cell Culture.

Kausik Chakrabarti is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Charlotte, NC, USA. Dr. Chakrabarti is an RNA biologist. His Lab currently focuses on genomics and molecular mechanism of RNA function in human parasites and viruses. The long-term goal is to utilize this information for developing RNA-based therapeutics to target human unicellular pathogens.
