Dr. Lukas Horak is an academic and research scientist at the Department of
Condensed Matter Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles
University in Prague. He obtained his Master’s degree and Ph.D. from the
Department of Condensed Matter Physics, Charles University. Between
2007 and 2009, he was at the University of Nottingham (UK) for short
experimental stays. Moreover, he has participated in around 22
synchrotron experiments at ESRF (FR), Soleil (FR), Diamond (UK), and APS
(US). Dr. Lukas Horak has experience in high-resolution X-ray
diffraction measurements of epitaxial layers, simulation and fitting
of diffraction data using the dynamical theory of diffraction, structural
characterization and refinement of semiconductor and perovskite
materials, and so on.
