Pavan Kalyan Lingampally is an Assistant Professor–Researcher in the School of Mechanical Engineering, SASTRA Deemed to be University. He received a B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad in 2009, an M.Sc. degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University, London, in 2012, an M.Tech. degree in Mechatronics from JNTU Hyderabad, Telangana in 2015, and a Ph.D. (Robotics and Automation) from VIT Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in 2022. His research interests include parallel mechanisms, rehabilitation devices, assistive technologies, bio-medical applications, mechatronics, robotics, and automation.
Kuppan Chetty Ramanathan (Senior Member IEEE) received a Ph.D. degree in Robotics and Controls from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) in 2010, an M.Tech. degree in Sensor Systems Technology from Vellore Institute of Technology Vellore in 2004, and a B.Tech. degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu, India, in 2002. Currently, he serves as a Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at SASTRA Deemed a University. His career has bridged both academia and industry, with more than 18 years of experience in Robotics, Mechatronics, and Automation. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) and has held the position of Treasurer of the IEEE-RAS Malaysia Chapter. He is a member of the IET and IEI, and he is a Chartered Engineer in Mechanical Engineering. His teaching experience includes Multi-Robot Systems, Robotics, AI in Robotics, Mechatronics, Motion Control, and Industrial Automation. As an active researcher, he has completed numerous funded research projects and his research interests include Cooperative and Intelligent Robotics, Climbing, Assistive, and Rehabilitation Robotics, Industrial Automation, and Mechatronic System Design.
Ragavanantham Shanmugam obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, India, in 2017 and his M.Tech. in Computer Aided Design from Madras University in 2003. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor and Department Head – Engineering Technology at Fairmont State University, Virginia, USA. His research interests include Advanced Manufacturing, Metal Additive Manufacturing, New Material Development, Composites, and Low-Cost Condition Monitoring Systems for Industrial Processes Employing NDT Techniques.
Lenka Čepová is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Machining, Assembly, and Engineering Metrology at VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. Her research includes Increasing the Accuracy of Free-Form Surface Multi-Axis Milling, the Influence of Tumbling Bodies on Surface Roughness, and the Microstructure, Mechanical and Wear Behaviour of Deep Cryogenically Treated Materials.
