Author Biographies

Yong-Chao Liu was born in Zhuzhou, China. He received a B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering and automation from Dalian Jiaotong University, Dalian, China, in 2013; an M.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), Chengdu, China, in 2016; and a Ph.D. in Automation from Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté (UBFC), Belfort, France, in 2020. He is currently a research fellow with the Energy Department, UTBM, UBFC, Belfort, France. He is the author or coauthor of over 30 technical papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include advanced PWM theory, active disturbance rejection control, sliding mode control and observation, artificial neural networks for modeling, classification and control, modeling and control of AC motor drives, fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control of power converters, and modeling and control of floating offshore wind turbine-based wind energy conversion systems.
