Prof. Bangyu Wu (Member, IEEE) received a B.S. degree in information engineering and Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 2005 and 2012, respectively. From 2007 to 2011, he was a Visiting Scholar with the University of California at Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, CA, USA. He also worked as a (Senior) Geophysicist at Statoil (Beijing) Technology Service Company Ltd., Beijing, China, from 2012 to 2015. He is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Xi’an Jiaotong University. His research interests include seismic wave modeling and migration/inversion, signal processing, and machine learning.
