Dr. He
Zhang is an associate professor of civil engineering at Zhejiang University,
where she received her B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in 2005 and 2010 and worked as a
post-doctoral researcher from 2010 to 2012. She worked as a Visiting Scholar in
the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Northwestern University from 2011
to 2012. She was awarded the Qiushi
Young Scholar (2014) and is the Principal Investigator of research projects
granted by NSFC. Her research interests include the dynamic behavior of bridges,
structure-borne acoustic noise, vibration-energy harvesting, and the smart sensing of infrastructures. She has co-authored
over 30 refereed international journal articles.
