Dr. Dake Xu is a professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Northeastern University, China. He obtained his master's degree at the Dalian University of Technology in 2007, received his Ph.D. in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Ohio University in 2013, and then worked as an associate researcher at the Specialized Materials and Devices Division of the Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2013 to 2017. His research interests include microbiologically influenced corrosion and its mitigation, antibacterial materials and biofouling.
