Frantz Rom Poulsen is a Clinical Professor at the Department of Neurosurgery, Odense University Hospital. He obtained his PhD from the Odense University Hospital in 2003. In 2010, he became a specialist in neurosurgery. In 2011, he became a Consultant, Assistant Professor, and Head of Research at the Department of Neurosurgery, OUH. In 2016, he was promoted to being a Professor in Neurosurgery. He won the Beitostølen prize for Scandinavian neurosurgical residents during his residency in Norway. His research areas include the treatment of malignant gliomas, malignant glioma hot spot studies, fluorescein in cerebral tumor surgery, cerebral blood vessels, and so on.
