Dr. Eiji Sadashima is a Biostatistics and Clinical examination specialist currently working as a researcher in the Department of Clinical Research Institute. He obtained a Ph.D degree from the Kurume university in 2016. In 2016, Dr. Sadashima received a Academic Award of Kurume University. His research topics mainly include cytopathology, diagnostic medicine and prognostic study.
Dr. Hirokazu
Takahashi is a Hepatology specialist currently working as an Assistant
Professor in the Department of Hepatology, Diabetes, Metabolism, and
Endocrinology at Saga Medical School. He obtained a Ph.D degree from the Faculty
of Medicine, Saga University in 2011. In 2008, Dr. Takahashi received a Travel
Award for the 18th Annual Meeting of United European Gastroenterology. In 2009 he was
the recipient of the Young Investigator’s Award from The Japan Society
of Ultrasonics in Medicine at their 19th Annual Meeting in Kyushu. In addition,
Dr. Takahashi is an active board member of the Japanese Society of
Gastroenterology, the Japan Society of Hepatology, the Japan Society of
Ultrasonics in Medicine and the Japan Diabetes Society. He has been featured as
a guest editor for numerous journals and was a reviewer for the Lancet
Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Diabetes, Nature Communications, Journal of Gastroenterology,
Liver International, the European Journal of Ultrasound, and Hepatology
International. Moreover, his research topics mainly include non-alcoholic fatty
liver disease and diabetes.
