Yujun Zhou graduated from the College of Resources and Environmental Sciences at Nanjing Agricultural University with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering in 2015, and she was a Visiting Student at the University of Florida, USA (2013–2014). Then, she earned
a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the Research Center for Eco-Environmental
Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2021. In the same year, she joined the School of Environmental and Biological Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, as a Lecturer. Her main research interests include electrochemical water treatment technology; research and development (R&D) of advanced environmental functional materials; and tailwater/sewage sludge treatment.
Zhigao Zhu is an Associate Professor at the School of Environmental and Biological Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He earned his Ph.D. in Municipal Engineering from the School of Environment, Harbin Institute of Technology in 2019, then joined Nanjing University of Science and Technology in the same year. His main research interests include high-salinity wastewater treatment and resource utilization; reseach and development (R&D) of high-performance separation membranes; capacitive deionization (CDI) technology; and electrostatic spinning technology and microfiber materials.
Yue Yang has been a Lecturer at the School of Environmental and Biological Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, since December 2022, with a focus on wastewater biological treatment technology, membrane technology for water treatment, and biomass energy recovery and utilization in wastewater. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Taizhou University in 2015 and completed her Ph.D. studies at Dalian University of
Technology in 2020. Prior to joining Nanjing University of Science and Technology, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Dalian University of Technology (2020–2022).
