Eddy Sanchez completed his third-level studies in Geotechnics from the National Polytechnic School of Ecuador in 2000 and his fourth-level studies in Geography from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE) in 2018 and in Water Resources at the Salesiana Polytechnic University in 2024. He is currently a professor of Geology, Geotechnics, Hydrology, and Topography and a monitor of community service projects of Civil Engineering and PUCE Systems (2009-2021). In addition, he has taken courses on the following topics, among others: climate change modeling at the local and regional level in 2020; modeling of hydrographic basins and micro-basins with Hec-Ras in 2019; early-response mapping to support the decision-making process in natural disasters in 2018; the design and analysis of drinking water and sewage networks with WaterCad and SewerCad in 2017; hydrometeorological phenomena in the context of climate change in 2017; the application of geo-technologies in vulnerable areas in 2017.
