Laura Alvarez has a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences, is a professor at the Chemical Research Center IICBA, Autonomous University of the State of Morelos, is head of the National Laboratory of Macromolecules Structure and is a member of the national system of researchers level III. Her research lines include natural products chemistry.
