I obtained my bachelor's degree (pharmacy) in 2006. From 2009 to 2014, I studied at the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Peking Union Medical College, and I graduated in July 2014. I have been engaged in the anti-inflammatory and immunological pharmacological research of traditional Chinese medicines and natural products for more than ten years. I have made a breakthrough and innovative contribution to the pharmaceutical field. I am a master’s mentor. I serve as a reviewer for some journals, such as Frontiers in Pharmacology, Journal of Traditional and Complementary Medicine, etc. I have chaired two projects for the National Natural Science Fund, one project for the Beijing Natural Science Fund, one Lifting Talent Project of the China Association of Chinese Medicine (2019-2021), and one Youth Foundation Project for Peking Union Medical College. As a backbone researcher, I have also participated in seven Major National Projects and one project of the Beijing Natural Science Fund. Until now, I have published 40 research articles which had been cited > 700 times (H index 14), of which 29 are English articles that I am the first or corresponding author.
Prof. Yun Qi entered the Postdoctoral Mobile Station of the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences after graduating from Chengdu University of
Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1999. He joined the Institute of Medicinal Plants of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in 2001 and was promoted to researcher in 2003. He has chaired or participated as a principal researcher in more than 20 national, ministerial, and provincial-level projects, of which he has chaired 8 projects. He is currently a new drug review member of the State Food and Drug Administration, a review expert for the National Science and Technology Award, a member of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacology Professional Committee of the Chinese Pharmacological Society, "Chinese Pharmacology Bulletin", "Chinese Journal of Experimental Prescriptions", "Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacology and Clinical Practice" etc. His research topics mainly include Biomedicine and Pharmacotherapy.
